Refill in the right order
- Wait until the old crystals dissolve or the collected liquid reaches the maximum fill line. Do not top off early.
- Empty the collected brine carefully, using the disposal guidance below.
- Pour new crystals into the upper tray; follow its fill line and do not overfill.
- Close the jug cap immediately and stand the absorber upright on a flat, stable surface.
- Wipe spills immediately and rinse the area with water.
Collected liquid
For typical household use, the published guide allows disposal to a toilet or sink with plenty of water unless local rules say otherwise. Rinse the drain area. Do not pour brine on soil, plants, lawns, metal, leather, carpets, fabrics or finished wood.
Store and handle
Keep the refill tightly capped in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from moisture and heat. Avoid eye/skin contact and dust. Do not mix with other chemicals. Keep away from children, pets, food and drinks. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling bulk material or when dust or splash exposure is possible, as SDS001 specifies.
First aid — follow the full SDS
SDS001 Revision1.4 specifies eye rinsing for 15–20 minutes, removing contact lenses after the first 5 minutes if easy, and obtaining medical attention if irritation persists. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. If swallowed, rinse the mouth, do not induce vomiting, and contact Poison Control or medical help.
