Empty collected liquid when ready
Carefully pour collected liquid into a toilet or sink, then rinse the drain area with plenty of water.
A quick guide to refilling correctly, emptying collected liquid, handling spills, and checking first aid steps for calcium chloride crystals.
Refill instructions
Do not top off the absorber early. Empty collected liquid first only when the old crystals have fully dissolved or the liquid reaches the container's maximum fill line.
Carefully pour collected liquid into a toilet or sink, then rinse the drain area with plenty of water.
Use the refill jug to pour crystals into the upper tray. Do not overfill; follow the fill line if your container has one.
Tighten the cap right after pouring so unused crystals do not absorb moisture.
Set the absorber on a flat, stable surface. Keep it upright during use.
Collected liquid can damage surfaces. Wipe spills, then rinse the area with water.
Use, empty, store
Place in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces such as closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, garages, cabins, storage rooms, RVs, boats, or other storage areas.
Empty collected liquid when crystals have fully dissolved or when the liquid reaches the container's maximum fill level. Crystals may dissolve faster in very humid areas.
Store the refill jug tightly capped in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Keep away from moisture, direct heat, food, drinks, children, and pets.
Disposal
The collected liquid is a calcium chloride brine. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, leather goods, metal, plants, finished surfaces, carpets, fabrics, and electronics.
For typical household use, collected liquid may be poured into a toilet or sink with plenty of water, unless local rules say otherwise. Rinse the drain area after disposal.
If liquid spills during disposal, wipe it up immediately, rinse the cleaning cloth with plenty of water, and rinse the sink or drain area.
Do not pour collected liquid onto soil, plants, lawns, metal surfaces, leather goods, carpet, fabric, or finished wood.
